Beautifully tailored & fully project managed interior design

Meet the Team

Have you met the Stella Mannering & Company Team?

2021 continued for all of us to be a crazy year, just as life seemed to be returning to a semblance of normality the impending doom to lockdown and further restrictions loomed! At Stella Mannering HQ we also had some big changes to navigate but we were determined to end the year on a high by recruiting two new team members to our Interior Design family.

In November we welcomed Senior Interior Designer Emma Webb to the team, her vast experience in high-end residential interiors has already proved to be invaluable in designing some beautifully unique spaces, Emma tells us more about her Interior Design journey.

Meet Emma

My formal training includes my undergraduate degree in Interior Design, which I completed at De Montfort University in Leicester and received a first-class honours classification in 2016. Since then, I have been working in the Interior Design industry and have invaluable experience in designing and managing high-end residential interiors in and around The Cotswold’s & London.

My previous experience consists of working on a wide range of projects including Grade II Listed Cotswold’s Estate, Oxfordshire Manor House, Northamptonshire Georgian Farmhouse, and Mayfair Apartment— managing the projects from concept to completion— within budget, and to a high degree of client satisfaction.

Having always excelled at creative- lead subjects, the desire to become an Interior Designer became instinctive— and fulfilled a deep-rooted fascination for understanding the way that people live, and how Interior Design can be used as a way of expression to communicate style through the use of materials, tone, texture, and form.

As well as my love for travelling, I am also passionately inspired by the more local landscape of the beautiful English Countryside. Having grown up on the edge of The Cotswold’s, I am naturally inspired by rustic textures, earthy colour palettes and local artisans—and where appropriate, this organically shines through in a lot of my designs.

What excites me most about working for Stella Mannering & Company in 2022 (and beyond!) is continuing to work in close collaboration with Stella and the rest of the design team, to design beautifully tailored and fully project managed Interiors within Oxfordshire & London - Welcome to the team Emma!

After a hectic end to 2021 with projects nearing completion and new clients on the horizon we knew we needed to expand the team further to ensure we give the best possible service to our clients. At the end of 2021, we welcomed Research & Design Developer Catt, her background in Textile Design has given the team a whole new perspective on textile combinations and placement.

Meet Catt

My background is in Textile Design specialising in surface pattern where I completed my degree at Nottingham Trent University. After graduating I landed my first job as a print designer, for a well-known retail fashion house, in London. My role consisted of trend research, colour and fabric insight, liaising with fabric houses, designing prints for all product categories. Having gained nearly 3 years of commercial experience, I made the decision to transition into interior design where my true passion lay. After speaking to interior studios and professionals I decided to study a residential interior design course through KLC.

I have always had a keen eye for interiors and regularly keep up to date with the latest trends through interior magazines, blogs and attending design fairs. I love to visit different countries and explore new cultures for inspiration – taking my camera wherever I go. Having a background in surface design and colour has a strong influence on my personal style. I love using an eclectic richness of colour and pattern while adding unique furniture and contemporary art to my design schemes.

I couldn’t be more excited to have joined Stella Mannering & Company. I am keen to learn from Stella who has years of experience in the field, as well as collaborating with the rest of the design team. In addition, understanding how an interior design studio works operationally and seeing a project from concept to reality –Learning how to interface with clients, to understand their needs to design their dream spaces.

The Stella Mannering & Company team is flying high!

It was a daunting prospect recruiting for new team members, as many of you know my blood sweat and tears have gone into building Stella Mannering & Company to where it is today, weathering some tricky storms to ensure the business thrives, so I can be a little protective of the business! However, when I met Emma and Catt I instinctively knew they would love Stella Mannering & Company as much as I do and bring some dynamic and fresh new ideas to the design table - welcome to the team, Emma and Catt!

Why not pop into our Woodstock studio and say hi to the new team.
