In an effort to do Halloween in our signature classic contemporary style it may come as no surprise that gurning bright orange cucurbits don’t quite make the cut, and yet we are feeling the need to participate in this increasingly popular creepy custom!
The Pumpkin remains the focus of our attentions but in an effort to stay true to our preoccupation with the colour grey it is the Jarrahdale variety which we are favouring. Better still go faux with some squash inspired home decoration, the Pumpkin Sofa from Ligne Roset promises soft, organic, round shapes with a firm seat, Porta Romana’s whimsical Pumpkin lamp is quirky and yet smart, One World’s offerings include decorative antique silver glass and chunky cement pumpkins and Oka’s Pumpkin-shaped bowl makes an ideal vessel to hold all those ghoulish goodies.
