Christmas in the Cotswolds

Can you believe it is almost Christmas— what a whirlwind this past year has been!

With the festive season upon us and the dark cold nights drawing in, the team here at Stella Mannering & Company have put together a guide on how to enjoy Christmas in The Cotswolds!

Our design studio is located in Woodstock, on the edge of the Cotswolds, we are a hair’s breadth away from tranquil sleepy villages, beautiful countryside, and cosy pubs. During the festive season, the Cotswolds are transformed into a magical place— crisp winter walks, roaring fires, and seasonal treats!

So many of our clients are relocating away from the hustle and bustle of London in search of a more idyllic lifestyle here in the countryside, we have included a few of our favourite things to do in and around the Cotswold’s during this festive season.

Whether you take a cold, crisp meander around the beautiful grounds of Blenheim with a hot chocolate right here in Woodstock, or head over to Chipping Camden to bask in the atmosphere of a traditional Christmas market selling artisan gifts, there is something to suit everyone needs.

There are also a wide variety of quintessentially English pubs to enjoy a glass of wine in front of an open fire —some of our favourites are The Royal Oak in Ramsden, The Lamb in Crawley, The Wild Rabbit in Kingham and many numerous wonderful pubs, restaurants and cafes here in Woodstock (too many to mention!)

In addition to the festive events this season which are local to our Studio in Woodstock, we are open right up until the 23rd of December and are on hand in our studio to help you with any home improvements you would like to discuss —no matter how big or small!
